500 Pearl

Highly impressed with the renovation and inclusion of I think 8 different places. I was there for a party at VICE Restaurant and the mood, scenery, food, and staff were GREAT! A newly found destination for return "home" trips!

I had my wedding reception in 500 Pearl's Grand Aeries room this past September and I could not recommend this venue enough!! Our wedding coordinator Annmarie was amazing to work with- she was very accommodating & was there for any question or concern I had. She was on top of every small detail and was truly lovely to work with! The waitstaff and bartenders on the day of the wedding were all amazing as well. I also cannot say enough positive things about the food, it was absolutely delicious and we were so impressed. We went with the forever package & chose filet mignon and chicken Milanese for entrees. I have had so many guests tell me afterwards that it was the best food they've ever had at a wedding. I ate some of my husband's steak and it was hands down the best steak I've ever had. Everything was also served in a timely manner, no one had to wait a long time to receive their food. The hors d'oeuvres and late night food were also just as delicious. Overall we are so happy we chose to have our reception at 500 Pearl & couldn't thank Annmarie and her staff enough for making our day so special!

The Candlelight concert of Vivaldis 4 Seasons was amazing. There were thousands of electric candles everywhere which gave it a calm and relaxing atmosphere. The musicians were fantastic and I loved the detailed descriptions of the music. Also, the venue (The Forbes Theatre) was absolutely beautiful.

From the moment we saw the Forbes Theater at 500 Pearl, we knew we had to have our reception there. It is such a gorgeous space and even though it’s a big room, it feels intimate. We had our entire day there, starting with getting ready in the bi-level suite, our first look on Patrick’s rooftop, photos in the venue and around the theater district, ceremony in the Fuhrmann Room, reception in Forbes and Sunday brunch in the 1914 Room. Honestly everything was perfect. The getting ready suite is amazing if you have a big bridal party - it’s two floors and we had the girls upstairs and the guys downstairs. We loved doing our first look on the rooftop with views of the city behind us. Fuhrmann is a simple room for the ceremony but we were able to dress it up with a few simple additions. Forbes is stunning, looks great with almost every color scheme, has a stage for the band/DJ and a patio if the weather is nice. And the brunch in 1914 was simple but just what we needed. The venue is also connected to the Aloft (Marriott) hotel, and since many of our guests were from out of town, it was really important to us that people didn’t have to drive all over town. You really can’t beat the convenience of having everything in one place and I know our guests appreciated being able to relax. Now onto the staff. I can’t say enough good things about Christine, our coordinator. From day one, she didn’t miss a beat. She had every detail documented and most importantly was such a “yes” person. Anything we wanted (within reason), she did her best to give to us. She was kind and compassionate, responsive, and you can tell she really takes her job to heart. On the day of, she was present and running around getting us whatever we needed. The rest of the staff was also great, the servers, bartenders, and everyone else involved. We got a lot of compliments about the service and the food and felt like we were personally taken care of. All around, we had an excellent experience and would recommend 500 Pearl and Christine any day!

We attended a wedding at 500 pearl and we were in Forbes theater, which was absolutely beautiful! The bride room did a great job with facilitating the wedding with their DJ lights and video/music. The appetizers were delicious, but the main meal Was disappointing to say the least the fish was very dry and the steak was cooked properly, but the gravy that was on that in the potatoes was very salty, The asparagus were a little too hard. If the main meal would have been as good as the appetizers, it would’ve been amazing but for the price that these wedding parties pay to me, it wasn’t worth it.
