ABC Kids Climbing

Such a fun, safe spot! A great way to build kid's confidence & dexterity, whilst also working off a bunch of energy!

I am a member of Team ABC, and I have been so for the past few years. ABC used to be an incredibly great gym. However, over the course of the past year, ABC has become far worse. The quality of practically everything has diminished greatly. With that said, it is still a good gym, so the 1 star comes from ABC's most recent event: ABC Origins Youth Competition. On paper the comp seemed awesome, however, it was horribly executed. The design of the comp was awful, the gym was indescribably crowded, the judges were inconsistent at best, the format was stupid, the sets were also not as good as you would want. There were spectacular moves combined with some rather atrocious ones. The Open category was the worst of all. Due to a large number of the competitors being short, the routesetters attempted to fit the climbs to that height, but, it didn't work. Nearly every climb had a break, most of which involved being tall, and even the general sets were just as reachy. Honestly, there's no other way to put it. It was legitimately the worst competition experience I have ever had, and if they ever try to do it again, it will probably be just as horrendous. One star for that awful experience. Don't go here.

Amazing place for kids to play. we are from out of town and come every chance we get.

We were in Boulder for spring break and wanted a fun indoor activity to do with our 7 year old girls. They had never been rock climbing before. From the moment we entered, Stef made us feel welcome and put the girls nerves at ease. The gym is awesome and perfect for kids to learn and advance. We spent three hours here and the girls had an absolute blast. Couldn’t recommend this spot more. We will be back every time we are in Boulder!! Thx ABC Climbing for a great family experience.

Great staff to make a kids climbing experience fantastic. The rooms and areas make social distancing easy! Nice to not feel pressure or rushed! 12/2020: Enhanced Covid19 precautions. More frequent yet smaller classes. More thorough screening and checks at entry. More divided spaces to lessen possible transmission! Way to go staff!
