a month agoThe theatre design was unique - the stage was in the center with seating fanning out. It was a nice way to view the show. Parking is an issue (as for all downtown events) but it was not terrible.

4 months agoChristmas Carol is a wonderful adaptation of the movie. The actors were incredible and I enjoyed it way more than I thought I would. The theater itself is unusual; however it was an experience I am glad I had. Photos/ videos are not allowed while the play is occurring.

4 months agoI have been going to this theater since I was a child to see The Christmas Carol. It is always a magical, fun, and heartwarming performance by the actors. There isn’t a bad seat in the house. Even though the story is the same every year, each actor brings their own vibe to the role they play which leads to a fun variety. Everything from the sound, to the lighting, costumes, and props are well done. Thank you for all the happy memories!

2 months agoFriendly staff. They have two, separate genderless bathrooms. Small theater with little orchestra pits around a stage. I saw The Last Five Years. The storyline was kinda hard to follow and boring for me but the music was pretty great. One of the main actors was spitting profusely like a Windex spray bottle all over the stage as they delivered their lines and sang the musical numbers. The stage and props were glistening with spittle and I almost covered myself with my coat when this actor was delivering lines in my direction, but I didn't want to embarrass them. You know when you see someone in a spotlight sneeze and you can see every particle of the mist? Yeah. They were doing that for every hard consonant they delivered. One of the props was a notepad which became well-moistened by the end of it. I felt bad for the co-star and I hoped they weren't getting spritzed by every line. I wish I had a poncho, safety glasses, and a mask. They have a place to buy drinks and they allow them in the theater but the seats don't have cupholders.
