This is a very cool place and has a very unique game system. When you first enter you get a wristband and that wristband allows you to enter any of the rooms that you want to play in. Each room has its own different game modes so definitely make sure you're reading the how to play before entering.

I'm a regular visitor at the Oak Brook location. Super fun time and very well maintained. It's a great mix of tech-infused games that test whatever mix of mind and body you want to work on that day; whether you want to push yourself physically or step back and just think through a puzzle, there's a game to match your interests. The value add at Oak Brook, though, comes from the staff. My friend and I have spent a lot of time talking with Madeline in particular. She is happy to talk both game strategy and any tech problems that arise with us, which she understands very well despite not being in tech herself. She has a lot of ideas for how to improve the customer experience and you can tell both from the depth of her ideas and the passion that she expresses them with that she really loves the business and cares about the product. Management would do well to accommodate her. Strongly recommend a visit to anyone who wants a unique entertainment experience; you will almost certainly want to book a return trip.

We went as a group of five and it was perfect. The games were a blast and quite physical. The allotted 75-minute time limit goes by very quickly, but I felt that we got our money's worth. Expect to get a decent workout and have a great time doing it! We will definitely be back!

Incredibly fun and unique place - if we lived closer we'd be here all the time! Tips based on our first visit: - weekends and holidays? Book in advance. A couple days in advance. Like, as soon as you know what day and time you want to go, book it. - there's a drinking fountain but bring your own water bottle, because you're gonna need it! - it's very chaotic. Definitely not for those who are sensory sensitive. That might go without saying, given the point of the place, but I'm saying it anyway. - lots of benches when the old folks (ok, me) realize their knees aren't 16 years old anymore. - there will be waits for each room, but it's a couple of minutes wait at most, and we were there on MLK Jr Day (schools are out) - dress way down. There are lockers for coats and such but there are people inside in shorts and it's literally 5° F outside. They are the smart ones. - we were a little overwhelmed at first, trying to figure out what room we wanted to do and what game we wanted to do in each room. Once we figure that out it was smoother for us. - for example: the Hoops room. I think there are two Hoops rooms. Each room has the same four games. On the control panel outside the room, you can select the game you want - the select "how to play". It'll show you a quick infographic of the objectives Before you enter, you choose the game and level you want to play, and that's the game you play when you go in the room. Each game/round has a number of "lives" (I think 5). And it seems like you get at least two turns, depending on if there is a group waiting. You'll get the hang of it, but give yourself some grace to understand it. :) - it. is. SO FUN. It makes me wish I was in better shape so I could keep playing. We will be back!!!
