a month agoWe brought our planet loving son here, and it didn't disappoint! There are a lot of interactive exhibits for kids, and a lot of cool exhibits for adults. The Destination Solar System show was cool too. Our son absolutely loved it, and already wants to go back. It would be cool if the gift shop had more planet toys, but that's a minor feedback.

a month agoThe museum was quite interesting especially the exhibit regarding light pollution. The other exhibits were whatever, and the museum itself took less than two hours to go through, which makes a good option for people wanting to visit a museum but don't have much spare time. At least the area right outside of the museum offers impressive views of the Chicago skyline. Overall, I wouldn't go out of my way to visit here again.

a month agoIt's a great space to bring children to explore and learn about space. Has quite a few interactive stations that even adults can enjoy. Only thing we wished we could have been told ahead of time is to use the accessibility entrance if we didn't purchase tickets in advance.

3 months agoLearned a lot! Tons of interactive exhibitions. I loved the moon film. Very large and impressive. Great for kids and families. So much to see you can easily spend a few hours here. The views are exceptional. I would come again.

a month agoMy husband wanted to stop by the Planetarium as he had many fond memories there as a child. It was a lot of fun and I even created a black hole on their interactive board. There was another kid there creating blackholes so we combined ours together to make a massive one. We also got 2 free shows with the CityPass we purchased, which I would recommend as you get to choose 5 attractions to visit with this being one of the choices, as well. Admittedly, it is probably more exciting and fun for kids since there's a lot of interactive parts they would really enjoy.
