8 months agoI’m an avid bird and wildlife photographer and I recently found this preserve tucked away in the midst of a nice neighborhood. This preserve provides several trail loops ranging from 1/2 mile to roughly 1 mile. Each loop crosses over the Goodby’s Creek. It has a playground attached with plenty of parking. This location provides plenty of different species of migratory and non migratory birds. Very satisfying.

2 years agoBeautiful place to drop in your kayak and work your way up the creek out to the river. Be sure to kayak up to Wicked Barley on your way back for brunch and a beermosa around 11:00 when they open. They have a sandy beach kayak landing there so you can paddle right up and enjoy the outdoors in their beer garden 🍻

a year agoThis place has a walk trail that is so disgusting with fallen trees and a nasty stream of waste water full of mosquitos that no one ever cleans. The park area is nicely cut and clean.

a year agoI put my kayak in here, and the tide was low, so after a few 100 feet, I came upon a tree that had fallen(??)across the creek. Needless to say, I had to turn around and leave...
