Alexander Family YMCA

Love the Alexander YMCA. All of the staff are extremely helpful, and welcoming. I recently rejoined after being gone for personal reasons, and it is so good to be back! The facility is topnotch & I simply love the community. Highly recommend.

This YMCA is amazing. I’m a mom that’s needing to meet my weight loss goals and some days it can be hit or miss with my son or the unpredictable weather. Gabby was kind enough to give me a tour and shared a lot of information. Bruce at the front desk was very kind and welcoming. I shared with him my goals and what I was looking to gain from this facility. I was most interested in their KidZone program but hesitant because he’s only been under my care. I got a 7 day pass and spoke with the very kind and nurturing ladies that worked in that area. I shared with them that this is a first time experience with me and they reassured me that he would be just fine. I didn’t know them but I trusted them all immediately. During my trial, I saw mostly, Anna, Bella, and Isabella. Anna was super reassuring for us to “keep coming back” as he will get used to it and that he sill be just fine. I peeped in a few times and I saw her comforting him and that made me feel really good. I love most that she is very nurturing and welcoming. Bella, was really great with being fun and energetic. She’s kind and super sweet. Isabella is who I saw mostly every day. She is kind and detailed. She gave me pointers and lots of reassurance. These ladies have made KidZone the best experience possible for my son and I. I’m grateful for all for their staff. This YMCA is full of so many activities. I love the workout equipment and how new it is. They have machines for everything. My husband and I spent about an hour in the racketball room and we had a great time. We were super sore the next day. My son and I utilized the “family swim” time and they had a ton of water toys and life jackets to use. The facility is super clean and there is so much to do. There are sanitizing wipes at every turn and people use them. We love coming here so much that we decided to Join. Ben at the front desk was so amazing and patient with setting us up. He took his time explaining everything and remembered us by name! Everyone here is truly kind and I’m happy to now be a part of this YMCA.

Member here for 8 years. The gym has gone downhill; due to parking issues, constant construction (2 nail flats), unsanitary locker rooms, and broken spa/saunas. I want to support the Y and the staff is great but likely to move to another gym.

Came in this afternoon. The staff at the front desk were very good telling me where to go where everything was. Place very clean, ver y kept up down to the men's locker room area. Great location except for construction out front. The sauna and steam room is currently down with no e.T a for the front desk. Steam room mens side broken. If up the fee but can't keep things fixed, this is a on going situation.

A very well maintained facility, very large, spacious with lots of amenities and activities for all members of the community and family. Large spacious rooms for community-based meetings.A lot of friendly and helpful staff members that are always present to help.
