JARKESHA KINGDOM CHOSEN (KC)
a month agoMy Family & I, have a wonderful day out at the Miami Zoo. It was our 1st time visiting. The best part for me was seeing the director of the Miami Zoo, out with a family having a tortoise 🐢🐢 experience as we walked along the trail on a nice Saturday morning. 🙂 I definitely wasn't expecting to see that.

3 years agoThe Zoo is always fun. Lots of animals are alsleep or hiding in the shade though so can't get a great look at many of them in the Miami heat. Some animals were also closed off, not on display. Lots of nice areas for kids to play, water park, slides, feeding areas.. Food is expensive, $55 for 3 burgers and cokes. Overall it's nice, but cost is too high in my opinion.

3 years agoThe Miami zoo is nice. Enjoyable experience, but expected a little more from a major zoo in sub tropical area. Giraffe area was great for kids. Botanical aspects were nice but not in the same league as San Diego. I rate Denver, Columbus, Cleveland, Omaha and National Zoo as better.

a year agoI would rather go to the san diego zoo. Or the one in portland oregon. This one had a lot of different. Thing good about it though.
