a year agoWhat a beautiful hidden gem of a walking trail nestled in the woods! This is our favorite place to walk and it is very close to our home. We were able to enjoy this trail when it snowed this past winter and it was absolutely gorgeous. You have the option to walk on the concrete path or you can take the various trails in the woods which paths are lined with mulch. The park is very clean. There are a few trash and benches throughout the area to include some baggies for your pups messes at the entrance to the park. The parking lot is rather small, but we never had any issues the times we go. You can see rabbits, deer, and squirrels throughout if you are lucky! If you go off into the wooded trails there are some gradual inclines that may be somewhat problematic for some senior citizens, but nothing too bad! We always enjoy our evening walks here and will continue to do so for days to come!

11 months agoI had 30 minutes to kill before I had to catch a flight: this place allowed me to breathe deep and really feel the power of so much greenery and trees. The scent of the air is so sweet and fresh with all the blooming wildflowers. I am so thankful for my time here.

a year agoLovely quick walk down an easy short wide paved path. Great for walkers or wheel chairs. Side mulch paths available but no signage to let you know the length of each one. I took the mulch continuation of the main path and found it looped back to the main one to the left. (Maybe half way back🤷🏼♀️) I recommend bug spray just in case. I don’t remember bathrooms available. Signage would let you know length to extend your exercise❤️ it is well maintained. Benches are available on the paved path.

5 years agoGreat hiking trail. Combination of both cement, mulch, and dirt trails along a creek, woods and prairie area. Saw a small garter snake, skink, and numerous birds.

8 years agoAwesome spot, but the paved trails ends after 8+ mins of walking. Then it goes to dirt trail. Not terrible, but would be awesome if it was paved through a bit more. Beautiful little walk path.
