8 months agoLocated in Schenley Park, Anderson Playground reopened over the summer (2024) after a complete overhaul of the playground equipment. The new equipment is so fun for children. Several play areas give children plenty of space to enjoy and explore. I thought the playground was charming before, but the new theme and style is fantastic too.

6 years agoIt’s the best playground as it’s middle of the garden and very near to botanical gardens. There is lot of space to play and enough activities including children of all ages. Best part is this play has lot of shades so you can play in summer as well. One more good this I observed compared to other playground is that there is option to drink water which is very good for kids. It’s best to go on weekends and have kind if picnic.

4 years agoThe space itself deserve five stars. However, I got the impression that some of the areas are a bit abandoned by the management. One of the courses was closed for repair and there was not an estimate when it’ll be ready for play again. There’s also a shelter where you can host a birthday party and picnics for families and friends.

5 years agoVery nice park but it is almost two weeks that One of the wooden beam is broken and this is a kid hazard. Called again today the park management to see if they can have someone fixing it, see photo. Otherwise 5 stars

8 months agoI keep hearing that the improvments were for more room to explpre. this is called obfuscation to cover up that they spent a lot less to put a lot less in there for the kids. Unless they are running loose on the grass there are fewer things for kids to engage in. my 8 year old cried when she saw how much less was here. this is a growing trend that weve seen in all the city parks have a few interesting features but be abke to support or serice 30 to 50% fewer kids. One cyclist there with their kids here stated its a great movement forward to 15 minute cities since there is less incentive to travel to a playground and I believe it.
