4 months agoThis place is amazing and they do amazing work helping a number of animals from the owners to the volunteers everyone is super friendly. They hold many events throughout the year which are always nice and have a variety of things to check out from pop-up sales where there's a little bit of everything as well as some food drinks and treats while you're there pet the animals from horses, goats and chickens and more donations are always helpful but not mandatory it's also free parking and entry you can't beat that so why not make a small donation it doesn't even have to be money bring animal feed or apples, carrots even marshmallows my love for animals runs deep all 3 of my dog's are rescues and I'm grateful for places like this so if you can't donate or volunteer here please help another rescue if you can spay and neuter your pets adopt don't shop and please be kind to all animals

6 months agoAbsolutely amazing place and even better people running it. They are technically closed for the season as of 10/19/2024, however we didn't know this and they were nice enough to let us see the animals anyway. We got to learn a great amount of information about the animals in their care and their stories. The animals are very well taken care of and are happy and friendly. I recommend calling to make sure they are open beforehand though, as it's common courtesy and benefits all parties involved. I will be back for their events and when they reopen for the season. Highly reccommend!

8 months agoThe animals are rescue animals and are very well taken care of. I was at their festival this past weekend. They had goats and horses, and I didn't walk through the barns. The animals love the attention. They had crowds on both days, Saturday and Sunday. Which included many vendors, with food jewelry and carnival rides. A very nice and friendly place to take family to see the animals. It is wonderful to see rescue animals being taken care of.

8 months agoAngel Acres in Mooresville was an incredible experience. I had the pleasure to speak with many of the employees and volunteer staff. Everyone is incredibly passionate about the animals they care for, especially the goats (Waddles was my favorite). My young child got to feed the goats, pet them, and hang out with a few cats and dogs. It was a lot of fun. Thank you Angel Acres!
