Atwater Park

This park was a very successful project that contributed a lot to the neighborhoods surrounding the lake, and gave it access to the community, making it a great attraction at the city level. Let's help keep it clean so we can enjoy it for many more generations!! 🙌✨️🙏🌏💧

Beautiful park and beach area with a cool sculpture and playground. Parking isn't great besides street parking that we found. Very dog and community friendly area it seemed. Take the time to walk down to the beach area if you can. Be careful on the stairs if you take them and it's wet Don't go out on the completely falling apart concrete jetties, lots of metal rebar sticking out anyone especially kids or pets could get skewered on. Nice sitting areas with umbrellas and wooden pathways around the beach / sand areas Relaxing and calm area for sure Portapotties could be cleaner though, had a bad smell from them

Really awesome experience walking through the gate and seeing the beach below. The walk down the path and up the steps was really nice too. Really nice view at sunset. The only downside is there's no bathrooms at the bottom. You have to go all the way back up for the bathroom.

August 2024 Absolutely breathtaking. My little family had so much fun here playing in the sand, enjoying the view, and playing at the playgrounds. You will have to park in the neighborhoods and walk. There are porta potties by the entrance gate. Looking forward to coming back.

We like to come here and go down to the beach, lay on a blanket to get some sun, or just sit or walk around and talk with folks, we also like to come at night and look at the stars and listen to the waves. It's beautiful and relaxing here, all year round, day or night, no matter what you're doing!
