4 weeks agoThis park has a good walking trail and has kid friendly playing equipments. Good directions through out the trail with miles and directions. However, the washrooms are one of the worst I ever saw in Austin. Its full and overflowing with bad smell. Kindly fix it, otherwise the park is safe and good

3 years agoConnections and adventures. This park includes a pleasant wooded trail perfect for walking, running and biking. If you want to hang out at the pool in season or play a little hoop you can here. Kids? The playground area has been updated with a nice covered seated area with plenty of space to enjoy family lunch. Austin is full of kind folks who love the outdoors! I've also met cool dogs here. I love dogs.

2 weeks agoCame here in a Tuesday morning. Nice hike and imo felt pretty tranquil from the bustling Austin. I would come back again if I were in the area. The creek was dried up unfortunately but with the cool weather and no mosquitos, it is hard to beat.

7 years agoGreat entrance to the walnut Creek trail system. Just like most Austin trails there are tons of great soon off trails. Also there is a pretty large spring that starts here, so it can be educational for the youngsters! If you want to hike through to walnut Creek the trails are marked well and keep you off of any roads. Most of the entire trail system here is very accessible. Please enjoy the Bluebonnet pictures :)
