Ballast Point Park

Ballast Point Park is in a beautiful location with awesome views of the Bay and downtown. It's also great for bird watching, has a fishing pier, picnic tables, swings, eatery, coffee shop, and a fabulous play area for the kids. Plenty of free parking and super dog friendly. Nice place to spend time for family and couples. Kids have play area to enjoy. A small food outlet is available to grab coffee,soda and snacks. Ample space for parking. It is pet friendly. Restrooms are available.

It's a very nice spot to hang out. The environment, the food portion is very generous if you like quantity and the quality is not bad.

Took the kids here while visiting FL. We wanted to try our luck magnet fishing. We didn't find anything other than an old fishing hook, but non the less the kids were excited. We spent some time in the playground area, which was great for playing tag. Before we left, we walked through the Splash pad area. If it was a little hotter, it would have been better, but it didn't stop the kids. Nice little park with plenty of free parking !!
