a year agoThis park is very, very average. Just a few trails around a dry, arid water body. Parking lot is very small and a few cars can park. If you decide just for walk or biking, it might be ok. The road to the overlook is blocked and the map is not correct. Only thing I felt a little watch worthy is an overlook/ bridge that is provides a small glimpse of the water. Although entry is free, this place was just a wastage of time.

a year agoGreat place to start if you're going on the Leon creek trail. This location has several other trails and plenty of parking. There is alot of development in the area so it's sure to get busier in the coming months/years. It is well marked and has lots of options depending on how long of a run/walk you're looking for. There is an air station for bikes and a port-o-potty of needed, which was clean. It's centrally location on the trail so this is a good place to start.

6 months agoThe mountain biking trails here are some of the most technical in San Antonio. The trails are well maintained and they’ve done as far as building some very unique jumps for more advanced riders. Definitely walk it or slowly ride the trails before going full send. Super beautiful and you’ll get your heart rate up riding these trails

8 months agoTook the dogs here for a walk to explore as we’re from out of town. Clean nice park with trails for walking and bicycles too! We had some good family conversation time!

3 years agoGreat trail for biking! The trail is wide and paved throughout. There are also dirt paths that stem off of the main trail; however, I do not think they are official trails. At the Bamberger Trailhead, there are benches, bike repair station, water fountain for humans and pets, doggy bags, and maps. The reason I gave 4 starts was because there wasn't much coverage from the foliage on the trail. There was also not much variety in the vegetation nor stopping points if you are just going for a walk/run.
