4 years agoThe park is clean, has swings and slides...the kids always enjoy going to “purple park” that’s what the local kids call it LOL. Also there is a path right there that goes into the woods that’s cool as well. Dont forget to bring waters, seems like we always forget LOL

6 years agoDecent sized park with a nice, well-kept playground, baseball field, wide open grassy fields (long and narrow) that runs along the bank of Bear Creek. Although this park is visited by many, it rarely seems too crowded. Sometimes there are more than a comfortable amount of children at the playground, but there is plenty of room throughout the rest of the clean, properly maintained field portion of Bear Creek Park to explore or play. Also, as a bonus, there are walking trails in the wooded area along the creek to take a relaxing stroll along. This wooded area is also quite narrow, which is nice with children because they are easy to hear, see, and find quickly. My husband, 2 children and I very much enjoy spending evenings after school or time on the weekends at Bear Creek Park (AKA Purple Park)!

7 years agoBear Creek Park is a small, quiet little respite from the busy humdrum of the Havens and ABC's of Middle Dundalk, with a bit of waterfront, a very nice playground for the under 12 group, baseball field, (well kept) some interesting bur short bike trails, and even some areas for fishing. Would NOT recommend trying to swim here.
