3 weeks agoSuch a fun place to visit! Staff were extremely helpful, and kind, while navigating through the grounds and had abundant knowledge about the animals. Would highly recommend to anyone looking for a fun activity to do, especially with toddlers.

7 months agoNormally I do not like these "smaller owed" places, most of the time the animals that need space to roam don't ever have enough space or the animals don't look healthy. That is NOT the case with Big Joel's Safari! The animals look well looked after. They seem to have plenty of space for the animals that need to roam. The staff is always extremely welcoming! Cute little playground as well. Didnt picture every one. However Ive came here maybe 3 or 4 times, once for a birthday party for my son's friend. Pricing wise is great for the amount of food/refill and experience is worth it. Especially for little ones that don't quite have the stamina for an entire zoo trip, you get that experience plus, up close. Each time I've went there has been a few new animals to see! I do highly recommend for a family trip or a birthday party even!

8 months agoOur family had a wonderful time at Big Joel's Safari. The Parakeet sticks were a huge hit and the zoo is kept up well. Lots of animals to see and they have shaded areas setup to get out of the sun.

10 months agoWhat a great hidden gem of an experience! This unassuming entrance off Highway M provides a unique experience for children and adults to engage with animals from all over the world. From Pygmy Goats to Giant Tortoises to Red Kangaroos (and many more varieties of creatures), this experience is well worth the $10 admission or, better yet, just spend $30 and get the annual pass! I do not see any kickback for endorsing the pass, but it just makes sense.
