7 months agoWe rented a paddle boat and it was bery affordable. It's a great little loop which took us about an hour to complete. We saw an egret which was great because we didn't see any on our St. Louis trip! Boat was easy to steer, could go forward or backwards, and we didn't have to wear life jackets.

2 years agoVery nice. Just don't go on a hot day. You'll suffer trying to paddle back before your hr is over with 🤣. We got a paddle boat. It's $26 a hr, then 15$ for additional hours. Afterwards, we ate the delicious smoked salmon sandwich with a side of potato salad. 😋. The staff was nice and welcoming at the boat rental window and getting us into our boats.

6 years agoI love the expansion of boats that the new owners have done! I have been waiting to be able to kayak in The Grand Basin for too long. They now have kayaking, canoes, and SUP (Stand Up Paddle Board). They have some great ideas and events and I’m so excited to see more people getting out on the water in Forest Park. Just another great place to go in Saint Louis now! Thanks Boathouse Paddle Co. :)

3 years agoGreat date location! Great, helpful staff, and plenty of water to explore. There's plenty of water to keep your distance from others and catch different views. I went pedal boating with my husband; very clean boats, but would recommend choosing something else if you're on the taller side (6+ ft) because you might feel a bit squished. Kayaking, canoeing, and paddle boarding also available!

a year agoReally fun experience, lots of wildlife around we saw a lot of baby ducklings and the animals aren’t scared of the boats going by.
