a month agoThere is indeed a Big Slide. It is located in the middle of the large park space at 3061 Cimarron, though because the original entrance at that address has been blocked by a utility shed, most people enter it from the top of Cimarron instead. The slide area itself is not Accessible, and the paved path connecting it to the nearby playground and leading from the street at the top of Cimarron is crumbling and potentially dangerous; watch your footing. The stairs on the slide were slippery and treacherous when I last visited, and appeared to be in poor repair. There are sharp nails sticking out of the edges of the slide's retaining walls into the stair area at about ankle height. Personally, I wouldn't want children playing on it.

a month agoSlide is about 200 yards southwest of the swings. If you're in the area, worth a stop. Kids loved the slide

7 years agoThis park is a great place to visit if you are in the area. It has both wooded areas and a field area. There’s a playground for your children and enough room to run around. It’s a great place and has a lot to offer. The only downside is you have to park on the street to get to this area. But that is no problem because the street has free parking.
