4 months agoDid a sunrise scenic drive the morning after 4" snow in NE Louisville November 2024. This is how it looked. It was open, and beautiful, well maintained, but seemed to be only for members or paying customers if people want to park and get out. No informational signs; just this long beautiful snowy scenic driveway. Photos are my own and follow DMCA protections.

a year agoThey have a beautiful community garden where you can rent a plot, there’s always someone there attending their vegetables and flowers and herbs. There’s also several nature trails that wind through the woods. I appreciate that the trails are kept up and very well marked. I did have to cross a wobbly log bridge at one point on the Waterfall trail, but other than that all Creek crossings had updated bridges. It’s a great place for the whole family or just for some solitude.

2 years agoGo here for a beautiful day in nature just off the beaten path!! It’s so interesting and lots of fun things to explore. We enjoyed an evening of music and food. Kids were running around everywhere feeding animals and having a blast. Love this place for its authenticity and historical significance.

2 years ago//GOOD: — beautiful property — easy opportunity for kiddos to get close and personal to a few animals — several hiking trails to choose from //CAUTIONS: — several trails pass through low, wet areas; the most popular “Waterfall Trail,” is unfortunately very wet and muddy when the “falls” are at their best (after rain) — trail markings are not consistent //NOTES: — free admission; drop box on site for donations

2 years agoBeautiful wedding venue. Two delightful on-site coordinators made our catering experience seamless. The Venue is beautiful. The Historic home and multiple buildings offer perfect photo ops. Horses grazing in the fields add that Kentucky flaire. Very enchanting.
