8 years agoI loved this park. I went there in a rainy day in April. It's near the river and you can have a good walk/run and enjoy the scenery. The river is not that nice and smelly, but the park is really nice and the trails are challenging and beautiful. The park has three sections of north (mostly trail and road), middle (lots of trails between lots of trees and plants!), south (nice trails and a pond!). You can easily spend an hour walking different trails and taking awesome pictures! I think the city needs to maintain the park better though. This park has the potential to be a really nice place for residents, tourists and visitors.

2 years agoWonderful small park located on the Providence side of the Seekonk River. It's a shame how people leave trash everywhere here. The city should do more!!! Such as making it one way. Adding speed bumps. Organizing trash collection. Adding street lights..... After a recent visit I noticed it appears someone has been starting to treat this jewel proper. The riverbanks have been cleaned in spots, and more trash barrels have been added. This is a fantastic area to view Swans!!!

4 years agoBeautiful park by the water. It took me a minute to find an entrance as there were no signs where I went in. Once I found my way in, however, it was gorgeous. Very peaceful and quiet, only a few other people around. Paths are clearly marked, although I didn’t realize until I went all the way up one that it was supposed to be closed off. Signs could probably be a little better. That said, it was really lovely and definitely worth checking out.
