10 months agoThis is one of my favorite parks in the Raleigh Area. It’s large and has times when there might be a lot of visitors but at the same time everyone has room. There are trails, beach-like shores,a large lake, and small islands. It’s a nice daycation spot if you want to get away for a few.

3 years agoLoved this park, there is a lot to do and keeps kids busy. I also like the amount of areas to sit around the park. They have bathrooms and a nice trail that leads to the lake. We had fun for hours.

3 years agoSWEET PLAYGROUND! I believe it’s a very similar copy of the one at Crowder County Park, which is also a sweet playground as well. We originally visited maybe 4-6 months ago, and the playground area was under construction…Good to see this playground finished snd completed! I love how the entire area was layed out, all the creative ways to climb up to the second level, or even the third level to go down one of their super slides. Great playground for ANY age kids. 😁👍 UPDATE: WALK ON THEIR HIKING TRAILS IN THE WOODS!!! There is a SUPER COOL rock area right next to the water! Ya gotta walk five min back into the woods to get to it, but it is so beautiful!

12 months agoThis place is perfect for the kids. All my kids had the school's field trip here. There have plenty parking spots at the education center n the play ground area. This park is good for hiking n taking the kids for picnic with the big playground besides it. The restrooms are cleaned. My kids are really enjoyed everytime when we come here.

5 years agoI really like Blue Jay Point County Park. It would be a five star if there was a swimming beach. Otherwise it has a lot to offer: hiking trails, visitor center, educational gardens, open field for play, picnic shelters, and a private business called Go Ape, a tree top zip line that to my knowledge is the only one in Wake County.
