a year agoGreat activity for an afternoon in place of a hike. Lake is a nice size and you're able to see most of it in an hour or so. Staff was friendly and professional and the waiver process was very simple. We'll be back again.

10 months agoI recently visited a rental place by a beautiful lake and was satisfied. They have a great selection of boats, kayaks, paddleboards, and pedal boats. There's pretty big parking (cost 8$). The lake is stunning, with lovely views and clean water. I had a fantastic time and highly recommend it to anyone who enjoys outdoor activities!

3 years agoA ton of fun! We had the chance to use a brand new tandem kayak. Was able to cover most of the lake in 1 hour. Life jackets were clean and well taken care of. Will be back to try the paddle boats.

9 months agoI am deeply disappointed with my recent experience with Boston Boating and their refusal to issue a refund for my membership. Despite paying a substantial amount ($578.09) for a family season pass, my family and I encountered numerous issues that severely impacted our enjoyment and use of the pass. Firstly, we booked a boating trip expecting to visit our preferred locations, as we had in previous years. However, this year, access to multiple sites like Spot Pond and Hopkinton State Park was restricted due to changes in management. This was not communicated to us at the time of purchase, significantly limiting our options and making the pass far less valuable. We also faced frequent and unexpected closures at Natick, the only site we could visit due to water contamination issues at Newton. These closures were not updated online, leading to wasted trips and frustration for my family, especially my young children. Moreover, the water quality at Nahanton was alarming. My daughter developed a severe skin reaction, which we believe was due to contaminants in the water. Despite providing photographic evidence and offering medical documentation, Boston Boating failed to address this serious health concern adequately. When I requested a cancellation and a prorated refund only 9 days after signing up for the membership due to these numerous issues and limited usage, Boston Boating refused. They cited my use of the pass over nine days, but this usage was limited and fraught with problems. Their response lacked empathy and failed to acknowledge the significant disruptions and health risks we encountered. Overall, my experience with Boston Boating has been extremely disappointing. The lack of transparency, poor communication, and refusal to offer a fair resolution have left me feeling frustrated and undervalued as a customer. I strongly advise potential members to reconsider and explore other options that prioritize customer satisfaction and health safety.
