💡Pro Tips from Reviews

  • Allocate approximately 1 hour and 20 minutes for the full 4-mile loop.
  • Be prepared for the terrain change in the second half, which includes road walking and a less defined trail.
  • Wear appropriate footwear for moderate inclines and potentially wet rock crossings.
  • Keep an eye out for wildlife such as snakes and lizards, especially where the trail isn't well-defined.
  • Stay aware of your surroundings due to the presence of mountain bikers on the trail.

Things to Consider

  • The second half of the 4-mile loop transitions to 'on the road and a trail that's not quite a trail', which may be less scenic or clear than the first half.
  • Initial sections can be 'a little steep' and include 'periods of incline' throughout.
  • Users should 'be mindful of mountain bikers' as the trail is shared.
  • Sightings of snakes (3 reported) were noted, which could be a concern for some parents.

Pretty views and not too much of an incline. Took about an hour and twenty minutes to do the 4 mile loop. The first half was beautiful along the hills. The second half is on the road and a trail that's not quite a trail, so be aware of that. Saw 3 snakes and 3 lizards!

Love this trail. The creek was flowing with water. There were multiple water crossings where you had to balance on rocks to get across.
