Bogan Park Community Recreation and Aquatic Center

I used to frequent this park a lot when I was a child mostly due to the aquatic center which at the time was the closest one to home until the Francis Meadows Center opened in Gainesville which I started going to more often. That being said, I wanted to check how the park was doing after not going after nearly 16 years and to no surprise, it is still popular and thriving. The aquatic center still has both lap and leisure pools open with the big slide still here. Besides the aquatic and recreation center, the park has a long circular trail good for jogging, dog walking and bicycling. Multiple softball fields, picnic pavilions and playgrounds are available for the public to use and have fun. Indeed this park continues to be a fun spot for families to this day.

We had a kids birthday party. This is the nice place to celebrate indoor pool party but there are too many restrictions . Front desk associates are very rude and unwelcoming. We booked party for 2hrs including room and using leisure pool but we can only utilize 1hr and 30 mins only due to check in for each visitor and break out in leisure pool. They should extend the kids play time on leisure pool due to 15 mins break out time. We paid for 2hrs but we were forced to get it done in 1hr 30 mins. Front desk lady forced the kids to vacate the leisure pool even though time is wasted due to check in process and leisure pool break out time which is not our fault. But It is not really busy. They should’ve extend another 15-30 mins in leisure pool due to restrictions. Please be mindful and aware of all rules and regulations and the customer service at front desk before booking a birthday party .

Commuted here through Gwinnett Transit & hiked the rest of the way. It was in the middle of a thunder storm. The pool is only indoors adjacent to a gym where a boys & girls club is. Bogan Park Community Recreation is one of the many Gwinnett Aquatic pool. Entrance for Gwinnett residence is only $5.50 this public pool is located in Buford area. Didn’t had the chance to tour the park. The pool holds a kayak team meeting.

Great Park, Has 2 different playgrounds, and a walk Trail with lots of Shade, and Volleyball nets! Love This Park

Love the park. My kids like the playgrounds and aquatic pool. Great for taking the kids on a summer day.
