Boise Downtown Teaching Farm

A work in progress. Early April, and the spring perennials are just starting to show: narcissus, cherry blossoms, grape hyacinth, rhubarb, mullen, onions. The beehives will be set up soon, and there's a praying mantis egg case under one of the benches, ready to hatch.

Loved walking through the garden. Lots and lots of plants and trees. Very overgrown in parts and needs to up keep. I don't know if that is because it was summer when we visited or they just need more help.

Awsome place to help and try fresh fruit and vegetables. Love the bee box. I bet the honey is amazing. Now to figure out who to talk to to try some lol.
