6 months agoWas so disappointing!!!! The bluey characters was the only reason we went and they closed the line before we got there. We got there at 7:30 and only stood in line for 1 other character. My 4 year old was heart broke and the night was over because of the crying when we was told we couldn't wait to see them. The lady was nice about it but was a complete wasted trip for us we will not ever make again. Shame on the Louisville zoo for no planning. Why take people until 8:30 when the 7:30 people didn't have the time to enjoy themselves.

6 months agoWe went to Boo at the Zoo tonight with our daughter, her husband and our 2 and 3 year old granddaughters and they loved it. It was a bit crowded but we all had fun. The zoo staff and characters were nice and friendly. The 3 young men directing traffic at the entrance had their hands full with it being so crowded. They did a great job keeping everyone safe and car traffic flowing. There was one 'jerk' that was very disrespectful to them as they were asking people to stop to let the traffic flow. These guys were busy and doing their best to keep people safe and this guy was yelling at them and totally disregarding their direction not to cross in traffic. It was just him and a woman with him and in my opinion he shouldn't have been allowed to enter by the way he was acting.

a year agoBoo at the Zoo was a great experience for the kids. However, access and ticket prices were poorly planned. We bought a ticket for a specific time and missed it because the Zoo sells "any time" tickets as well. Why should I have to pay more for a ticket at a certain time that I can't make because everyone and their mother is arriving at the same time with their "any time" tickets? By the time we made it into the zoo (over 1hr after our ticket time), the children were fussy and off their schedule.
