a year agoThis is an amazing park in the shade. We went in late July and it was great as it was hot outside. Lots of activities for all size kids and some adult exercise equipment as well. No restrooms, at least I didn't see them. Little kids need to go unexpectedly so I took one star off for that. I'll change my rating if I find they have a restroom somewhere. Take a look at the photos.

a year agoUpdate: I recently visited the newly renovated Boone Park playground and had a fantastic experience. The playground itself is well-designed and provides a safe and enjoyable space for children to play. However, I was disappointed to find that there is no tennis complex on-site, and there are no restroom facilities available. Additionally, the parking area is covered in sand, which can be tracked in and out of your car. On the positive side, the playground is suitable for nearly all ages and ability levels, offering swings, a hamster-go-wheel, exercise stations for toning and cardio, plenty of climbing activities, several spinning merry-go-rounds, and a teeter-totter. There's also ample shade provided by the beautiful canopy of trees and a pleasant walking trail. It's worth noting that I have often seen police officers on horseback patrolling the park, adding to the sense of security in the area.

3 years agoGreat park!! Lovely for a picnic or a walk alone or with your dog. Awesome new play ground for the kids. Has a really good special needs swing. Also a nice sidewalk walkway for kids on bikes or skates.

5 years agoFirst time here, really nice large park. Here for a film shoot, and what a great setting. People were great about not affecting the set. The playground was packed, looks like the kids were having fun. Lots of dogs being walked, and if you like squirrels, this is the place to be. The sidewalk goes all the way around the park, and it is a good place to get some exercise.

a year agoThis park is awesome and seems to have been designed by someone who loves spinning. There are 2 spinning seats in particular that I highly recommend. The seat is cup shaped and angled so that the momentum gained from your first push will continue to rocket you around in ever increasing speeds until someone saves you or you launch yourself out of them with sheer will power. There's a large spiderweb looking rope climb tower type structure and 2 smaller slide and climb structures. They also have a swing set with one larger seat that seems to be designed with special needs in mind and a rope net swing circle. There is some adult sized "gym" equipment that is fun to get on and laugh about while you watch your kids and the area is shady and trash free. I didn't see a bathroom or water fountain and each time I've been its been full of kids and parents. Tons of seating areas and again...those spinning cups are ridiculously fun.
