2 months agoThe museum was fun and great for all ages. The staff were helpful. The food in the snack area was priced great and very tasty. Something on the menu for all ages. The bathrooms and changing areas were spotless and very clean. Had a chance to also visit the Planetarium show and it was relaxing and informative. This place is a hidden gem for Dayton and hopefully more people will stop in and check this place out.

5 months agoWe recently had our wedding at Boonshoft Museum of Discovery and I seriously could not recommend anywhere more. Adam and his team went above and beyond to help us create the most magical, wonderful evening! They are like literal fairy godmothers ✨ Magic happened that night and I attribute so much of it to them! Not to mention it’s the perfect venue if you have a lot of kids in your family. Everyone was so comfortable and people of all ages had the best time. The in house bartenders created a fantastic custom cocktail for us that was an absolute hit with our guests. The Beiser room has great backdrops and furniture for photos and the custom star story they put together for our ceremony in the planetarium brought on all the tears. We were truly able to create the most awesome experience 100% specific to us, our story and our vision.. and all for less than most traditional venues cost! I will sing their praises for decades! 1000/10 highly recommend!

a week agoAs always, we had a great time, the staff was wonderful, and we enjoyed talking to the partners as part of the Earth Day festivities. We also appreciate the access via Museums for All and appreciate how it helps those of us who may not have other means to visit local museums.

3 months agoI really enjoy going here with my little. He loves every part and I especially love the animals 😊 There were a few parts of the stars & space exhibit that were not functional or really needed to be updated, but overall a great place!

2 weeks agoThere was nothing more frustrating than to take your grandchildren to an educational facility on to find that 75-80% of the hands on interactive activities didn’t even work. Then you have kids running everywhere pushing/shoving/ cussing without supervision of an adult (bc they were on their phones). It was more of a day care than a learning environment! The space program was a joke. We were looking forward to seeing zodiacs, videos etc only to sit in a pretend and unrealistic 3d rollercoaster. The best thing of the whole facility was the science experiments. That team did an incredible job! That honestly saved the day and was the kids favorite part of the whole thing. What a disappointment. All in all the only discovery we truly experienced was the lack of functioning activities! It didn’t use to be that way. Honestly sad and heartbreaking. The adults that were with me were equally disappointed after I had played it up as a fun, educational and creative learning experience!
