Visiting and staying at a nearby hotel, came here to walk my dog. Pretty trails, nice bridges and streams. Really a lovely area. If we lived here we'd spend a lot of time here.

Don't worry about the park saying the board walk is closed, as it is only a small part of the park Really well kept park with a nice picnic table setup. These aren't woods you'll get lost in but you do get a nice few glimpses of being fully surrounded by trees. It was also cool to see the handicap access and pavement trails to provide nice options.

I had already done my daily walk at another park but I wanted to explore a little bit of the Brookhaven Nature Park. Definitely away from noise and civilization, this park is only noisy from the nearby school. It is quiet and secluded and there is a network of both paved and natural trails. The trails follow and cross Crabtree Creek. At the entrance, there is a handicapped accessible observation deck with picnic tables. I did not spot any other active features and there did not seem to be a restroom. The park is well-maintained and full of wonderful spots to see nature. I did see a deer who ran off when they spotted me. It was a great little break from Raleigh traffic.

Disorganized trails, small, and signage that is irrelevant. There is NO lake, but a small, overgrown pond. This does sit behind a School and is adjacent to many neighborhoods. This seems more like a neighborhood park and not trails. The biggest concern is the homeless population living on the trails. One person ran in their tent and peaked at us through the opening as we walked by. I would never return here

Surprisingly beautiful trail in the middle of the woods. It is nowhere near 3.9 miles, but more like 1.5 miles, if you walk all three trails. For 30 mins, it is great.
