a week agoView @ Buffalo Bayou Park. . Spanning the banks of the Buffalo Bayou, the 3-kilometres long park is an oasis of green tranquility in the city. . Points of interest include the Water Works & Cistern, the Johnny Steele Dog Park, the Lee And Joe Jamail Skate Park, the Wortham Memorial Fountain 'Dandelion', and the Waugh Bat Colony. . There's a variety of art sculptures scattered throughout the park, which is a popular jogging spot.

3 months agoSpent the day at this wonderful park, exploring the bayou, nature, walking trails, monuments, and art. What a delightful nature escape just steps from the hustle and bustle of downtown Houston. Vibe was very healthy and relaxing, most people like me getting some exercise while others relaxing in the sun. What a treat!

2 months agoGreat park! Rain, flood, hurricane or shine! Buffalo Bayou Park is a great place to walk, hiking or ride your bike through the bayou that traverses Houston from west to east and ultimately turns into the Houston shop channel East of downtown.

4 months agoBuffalo Bayou Park is a peaceful escape in the heart of Houston. I took a morning walk and was impressed by the scenic trails, lush greenery, and the views of the downtown skyline. The park is well-maintained, perfect for a stroll or a jog, and offers a calming atmosphere to start the day. Highly recommend for anyone looking to enjoy nature in the city.

6 months agoHuge beautiful park. Lots of shade. Beware - bicycles also on walking trail - and they don’t announce themselves. Also, finding a parking spot is extremely difficult.
