2 weeks agoThis museum is awesome with many activities to do and a lot of information to learn! The employees were very kind and helpful with information and directions. This is a good place for adults and kids to have fun and learn something new. There are four floors full of learning activities and an observation deck up to to look over the city. There are elevators or stairs depending on which you prefer to take to get to the next level and there is food and drinks right before going into the first exhibits

a month agoWe came here for the Dinosaur/archaeological event 2 weekends ago, and we had an absolutely wonderful time. Everyone we interacted with was cheery and carried a great vibe. This made for a great learning environment, and we learned a lot! Our 7-year-old loves dinosaurs, and this event was perfect for just that. My favorite part about the entire experience was that the snack stand was so reasonably priced! 2 slices of pizza, a bag of sour skittles, a can of sprite, and a can of coke for $9 bucks total. Also, prior to having been here, I assumed it would be a quick thing, but there is truly hours of fun to be had in this place. We spent 2.5 hours playing, and could have easily been there for 3.5 with how much there is to do.

5 months agoExtremely small museum. I have been coming here since I was little being a Buffalo native. It has been decreasing in size over the years. Children will have fun but for adults their is not much to offer her, 3 of the exhibit locations are closed, the Egyptian section which used to be large is now a few pieces tucked away in a corner. The rooftop and observatory is closed at the moment. The gift shop is literally a 5x5 square with no good choices. The place seems clean but I kept getting a smell of vinegar and dirty diapers. The elevators are small and should only be used if you can not use the very small staircases. The "food court" is never used anymore. Sadly this place has just become a memory and shadow of its former self.
