💡Pro Tips from Reviews

  • Plan to take your time to read and check everything out thoroughly to get full value for the $20 admission fee, as the museum is not large and can be rushed.
  • Be prepared for some unique display pieces to lack detailed information, potentially requiring visitors to do some guesswork or engage staff for explanations.
  • If interested in purchasing items from the gift shop, be aware that while shirts are average-priced, some other items may be considered overpriced.

Things to Consider

  • The museum is not very large and can be 'breezed through' in about 20 minutes if visitors do not take their time to read and explore.
  • Some unique display pieces lack detailed information or labels, leading visitors to guess what they are.
  • While shirts in the gift shop are average priced, other antique and memorabilia items are considered a 'bit above the value'.

Price & Value

$20 per person for admission. Visitors are advised to spend ample time exploring to ensure value for money, as the museum is compact. Gift shop shirts are average-priced, but other memorabilia and antiques may be considered expensive.

When to Avoid

  • If you are looking for a highly interactive or fast-paced experience, as it is a historical museum that requires reading and observation.
  • Families with very young children who are easily bored by static exhibits and lack a specific interest in vehicles or history.
  • If you expect detailed explanations for every single item on display, as some unique pieces are reported to lack sufficient information.

An amazing collection of all different kinds of vintage vehicles, clothing, fuel pumps, toys and tons of other things! A good chunk of the collection really focuses in on the many awesome things that were manufactured in Buffalo throughout its heyday, which if you’re a history nerd you will really appreciate! A must see museum if you are in the area!

Great bit of history hiding in downtown Buffalo. The car collection and motorcycles are wonderfully restored and in beautiful condition. There is a giftshop where you can buy actual antiques and other memorabilia. The shirts are average priced but feel other items in the shop are a bit above the value but it goes to keep the place running. 20 dollars per person to get in. Spend as much or as little time as you want there. I would take your time to read and check everything out as the place is not that large and could breeze through in about 20 minutes and for the price would be a waste to just run through everything there.

Fun place with lots of interested and unique history of the area. It's not just cars! Only complaint was I wish they had more info telling you what some of the unique pieces were in the displays. We had to do a lot of "what do you think that is?" And just guess
