4 months agoA beautiful spot for photos! There are a lot of photographers here in the fall, but there are so many gorgeous spots available, you can always find a picture-perfect backdrop. Parking can be limited, but people are in and out pretty quickly.

5 months agoBeware of vehicle break ins. It’s a beautiful place to visit with one major drawback. The entire parking area is filled with piles of shattered glass from car windows. We were leary about leaving our cars behind but headed out anyway until we encountered a local who lives nearby. He informed us that cars were being broken into on a daily basis and the best thing to do is leave nothing in your car and put your windows down. I returned to the car and noticed a guy lurking around and smoking pot. It’s sad because this is such a beautiful place to be ruined by trash.

a year agoWe went there at 1 PM. The weather was perfect today for the hike. Bright sunshine helped in this cold weather. The hike has lot of good scenery that you will enjoy along the hike. Very much one of the best hikes in Austin. Easy parking available and there are number of places you can enter this trail. Trail gets very slippery if it rains so be cautious.
