2 months agoMy daughter and I moved here from VA in 2019. My daughter was going into 4th grade at the time. It was a hard transition as she really missed her friends. Her elementary school was fantastic but unfortunately she didn't get a "normal" go at things because shortly after moving Covid hit and school went to remote learning. Once we were able to start doing things again I researched the heck out of summer camps and came across Burn Brae. Burn Brae has truly been a life saver for us. She has attended every summer (this year she'll be going into 10th grade) and has made the most amazing friendships. She's been able to express herself creatively and has really blossomed into just a wonderful human being. I give a lot of credit to Burn Brae for instilling both self confidence and compassion in my daughter. As a single parent, I cannot tell you the amount of relief I feel knowing that she is somewhere safe surrounded by people who allow her to be herself and love her for it! Thank you Lisa for making Burn Brae the wonderful place that it is year after year!!!!!!

5 years agoSo amazing! I have been going there for 6 years and will continue to come back so fun! It becomes like a second home to me and I met my best friend there! It is a fantastic camp for people like me who are more into the creative side of things, like music and art so many options and you get to pick your own schedule so you can do what interests you! Less sports more art and dance amazing camp would 100% recommend!

5 years agoOur daughter loves going to camp here. She's been going for several years and really enjoys the variety of things that they do, and the friends she gets to hang out with and build relationships with. They provide a great balance of physical activity along with creative.

5 years agoAmazing place for kids to tailor their camp experience. For kids who like to learn new things and seek experiences with music, art, dance theater coding etc in addition to the sports and swim of typical camp - it is a gem. Kids gain confidence doing only what they love because they can build their schedule as they grow. Where else can a child learn archery, violin, and how to program a robot..all in one place?! So thankful for BBDC !
