2 weeks agoDecided to have a mini family reunion tonight at Cactus Bowl. We weren’t expecting much given this alley is well due for a remodel. BUT, the staff here made our experience a fantastic one. Jeff, the gentleman running the front desk, was attentive and answered all of my questions with patience. The cook named Lely, served us with smiles! She had our pizza and wings out in a timely manner and was made so deliciously, my boys went back for three more servings of wings! I didn’t get a chance to catch the bartenders name but she was quick, friendly and kept the tasty drinks flowing! (I recommend the Hippy Juice) We were enjoying our time so much we ended up staying all through cyber bowl until close. Overall, I highly recommend this place for anyone looking for exceptional service. The staff truly makes a difference, and we can't wait to return!

4 months agoI don’t know if shoes are very old or floor was waxed or what the heck but my little boy was very excited to bowl today and sadly this happened so it’s definitely something to be aware of and fix if they don’t want this to happen again. We weren’t even there for 20 mins. We ended up at the ER and he got glue thankfully not stitches. I was recording and stopped when he slipped to the side, ball dropped out of his hand, bounced back onto his chin as he fell so it definitely opened up. He was in so much pain. Definitely not coming here again.

2 weeks agoStaff is very friendly and the house is generally clean. Lanes typically have decent oil and is more consistent than most houses. The issue is that the new owners do not seem to appreciate their customers. Constantly raising prices, no deals on food and drink for league bowlers. Then to make matters worse they are now shrinking the size of their pitchers for beer instead of just raising the price. One pitcher no longer fills 4 glasses. Bowling teams are typically 4 man teams, so this is a problem. When bowling league you should be bowling in a timely fashion which is harder to do when you have to constantly be buying more pitchers. Their beers prices were already high, but I’d much rather them raise the price than shrink the size. At a time when their competitors’ (Bowlero) pitchers are almost 2/3 the price and are offering specials to their league bowlers such as even cheaper beer and food, triple shift (the owners of cactus, lucky strike, Tucson, and fiesta) does nothing for their league bowlers. I bowl in leagues at several houses but due to this latest shrinkage will no longer be bowling in league anywhere other than Bowlero.

4 months agoClean and convenient, but the automatic scoring system was not accurate on our lane and sometimes the rack would freeze or lock up. It was still a good time and the staff was friendly and helpful, but I'm not sure it was worth $50+ for 2 adults, 2 kids, shoes and 2 games.
