Calleva's River School

I've taken several classes with Calleva and they do a phenomenal job of providing a safe, supportive learning experience. They are my "go to" for all kayaking instruction.

Whether you're a beginner trying to break into the sport or a seasoned paddler looking to dial in your boof stroke, Calleva's River School is the best in the area for whitewater kayaking instruction. Their passionate team not only does an amazing job of making the river accessible to all, but is also committed to building community both on and off the water.

I was very impressed with the Calleva River school. Well organized and great instructors. If you take part in one of their courses, you can go to open training every Tuesday as well, to reinforce your skills. And a really nice bunch of people. I would definitely recommend them, and work with them again.

Since completing Zero to Hero in June, I will be taking my 4th trip down Little Falls, with my sister, AllyGator! i am loving it and totally hooked! the Zero to Hero class was so awesome and gave me such a great foundation. I have a pretty decent conversion rate on my roll on flat water, so hopefully ill start translating that to the rapids super soon! If you are considering getting into this sport, TAKE THIS CLASS, it is awesome!!

Great coaches, community, and challenges. Calleva has instructors to fit every personality, age, and learning style. I've met many wonderful paddlers through Calleva. I had the opportunity to run 5 rivers this season! Fall training was the best part of 2020. 🙂
