Camp Adventurewood

My 9 year old son attended Camp Adventurewood for the first time last summer (2022) and had such a fantastic time that he made sure we registered him again for this Summer (2023) as soon as we were able to. He has not stopped talking about how he can't wait for camp! His favorite activities included archery, the treasure hunt and pelting the counselors with water balloons LOL. As a mom, it felt so satisfying to see my son come home good-tired, really happy and needing an epic bath from all of the outdoor play each day. One of my favorite things about Camp Adventurewood is that it is entirely outdoors and there are zero screens in terms of camp activities. The camp is run by a group of truly committed and deeply caring people as well. The bonus of this experience was that my son made a really good friend in the process. An all-around success I would say. I'm thrilled that he's so excited to go back this Summer.

Camp Adventurewood is the best camp in the area, hands down!! My kids have been a part of the camp family for the past 14 years and counting! We plan our summer schedules around these five weeks at Camp Adventurewood, as my kids would never dream of missing a day. The directors and counselors are handworking, caring, attentive, charismatic, and lots and lots of fun!!! Camp Adventurewood truly is a community and I am so happy that my family gets to be a part of it! :)

Camp Adventurewood is the best kids summer camp in the San Gabriel Valley. In addition to the amazing staff, the amiable and responsible camp owner, Peter, is on-site every day overseeing the smooth operation of daily activities. Not only does Camp Adventurewood offer all (if not more) of the activities you would expect to see from the best summer camps, it also adds an action-packed storyline for the kids to follow and interact with like a live television show! Having been a camper for nine years and a counselor for five, kids of all ages tell me they love this element of Camp Adventurewood and the staff is very conscious of making all campers feel safe during the action. Many campers continue to return year after year to keep up with the engaging storyline, see their favorite counselors again and participate in the captivating daily activities. Give your kid the best summer experience yet by sending them to Camp Adventurewood and by the end of the summer they'll beg you to sign them up again.

Camp Adventurewood is amazing. My two daughters have been attending this camp for the past 7 years, and it is the highlight of their summer. Every year, they ask me how long before they can go back. The counselors are fun, caring and make sure the kids have the best camp experience. I love having transportation from our front door to the camp site. The kids love all the adventures, from engaging in the ongoing storyline to swimming, archery, horseback riding and games. Peter is always so accommodating and responsive and he is dedicated to making sure all campers have fun and stay safe. You will not find a better camp in the area.

Camp Adventurewood was a wonderful experience for my daughters. Swimming, Archery, Horseback Riding and Crafts were only a few of the many outstanding activities they experienced. Peter runs a very thoughtful, creative and professional camp. Camp Adventurewood provided memories for my daughters, which will last a lifetime and it was at a very reasonable cost. This Day Camp is the best in Southern California, not only because of what it offers, but because of the incredible detail given to every experience by Peter and his Staff.
