10 months agoAlmost 10 year old twin boys had a great time at Camp Augusta's most recent two week session. Lots of great memories, crafts, and they loved the tons of choices each day. It pushed their boundaries and gave them a sense of independence, and best of all, they want to go back!

a year agoI really enjoyed my experience here. There are so many activities to choose from daily. The food was absolutely delicious. Hats off to all the kitchen staff for providing such a varied menu over to many days. I had so much fun learning how to use new machines to create glass beads and wooden items. I loved the self reliance and responsibility aspect they promote where everyone is responsible for taking dishes to the cleaning area, taking your own towels and water bottles. Be prepared to turn off your electronics and connect with others!

a year agoI've been going to this camp for 6 years. It has been such a life changing experience for me. Ive tried things I never thought I would've done, conquered fears, and met many friends. The staff there are so amazing and fun to be around, and the counselors treat you more as a friend than a kid they're paid to watch. I think that the staff at a camp can really make or break the experience so I really value this camp over others. Also, there are an abundance of activities. Some of my favorites over the years are throwing range (spear, axe, and knife throwing,) aerial silks, stilt walking, and candle making. I personally am not a huge fan of the outdoors and not having my phone with me but Camp Augusta makes me forget all about that. The only downsides are the Covid testing policy (I tested positive and everyone in the car got sent home, not just my mom and I. Keep in mind this was at 7pm in the middle of the forest,) and the mosquitoes, but the camp is great enough to overrule those things. I highly recommend this camp.

3 years agoMy children have been attending Camp Augusta for several years. It is truly a magical summer camp! Kids have the most amazing adventures, positive and thoughtful environment mixed with so much creativity!! It is in a gorgeous, Rustic setting that really promotes freedom and play time that all kids deserve over the summer!!

3 years agoThe magic of Camp Augusta for our kid is the amount of choice offered. There are such a variety of fun options that allow different kids to craft the camp experience that best fits their energy, interests, and moods. It reinforces the themes respect for self and others. Our kid went to Camp Augusta for the first time at age 12 & had a blast, and wanted to return every summer since then.
