10 years agoMy kids went to Camp Woodbrooke and loved it. The staff was wonderful, the setting picturesque and the food very healthy with many vegetarian and vegan options. The Teen Experience is challenging, but enlightening. I really feel that my son's world view has expanded to have more appreciation for family, conservation of the planet and gratitude for life. The cabins are very rustic, but are a part of the appeal of the camp.

5 years agoI went to Camp Woodbrooke with my siblings, 3 separate times when I was a kid. I'm 33 now, and I still think of all the fun I had there. This place was so magical. And coming from a poor, single-parent home, I didn't get to have a lot of experiences like canoeing, camping, and woodworking, not to mention singing around a campfire with friends. If I had kids I'd send them there in a heartbeat. Lol.

9 years agothe small size of this camp and the extraordinary staff make this a high quality camp experience. the facilities are rustic and the kids are outside, come rain or shine: sleep in a 3-sided structure under mosquito netting, meals in a converted barn, swim in a pond (which is a plus from my perspective). special diets, including vegan, are accommodated as a matter of routine and the Quaker spiritual underpinnings mean this is an inclusive experience that makes evident respect for each other and the natural world.

3 years agoOur daughter just returned home from her first camp experience and she ABSOLUTELY LOVED CAMP WOODBROOKE. She’s listening to a Spotify playlist of songs she sang at camp and is full of smiles and stories. Huge thank you to the Camp Woodbrooke staff and counselors. Our daughter gives you 10 stars :-)
