4 months agoJoined a hiking group that meets up on Sunday mornings. I've learned so much about the city I've lived in all my life doing these hikes. I had no idea there were so many different trails right here in Richmond. This was our second time hiking ar Canoe Run park.

a year agoEdit: Always busy, but still room to social distance, enjoyed visiting again even in cold last week. Original: We have not been here since beginning of pandemic it was the only park we found we could social distance and have room to run. Also the exercise equipment to and from car is always fun! Our special needs son enjoys the run.

5 years agoThis park is a cool place to go. Fairly popular during the summer. Make sure to watch your valuables as many people come and go and there is no security. The water isnt the cleanest, be careful about swimming in it. There is graffiti, but so much of Richmond is based around art I personally think it adds to the park. It also has a lot of stairs involved. The path isnt the safest so be sure to watch your step. It is a very pretty place though, great to explore.

5 years agoPaths are well maintained with lots of access point and parking but some of the people are not respectful of other and leave trash and break bottle so beware of glass but the they do a good job of policing the area during high traffic times to protect the peace

2 years agoFairly uninteresting park, though it does what it needs to do. Well kept except for the lifetrail which could use some love. Good for standard neighborhood use but not much else.
