a month agoThis is such a gorgeous church! It is open all the time and there is a detailed walking tour. The stained glass windows have all been redone and sparkle in the light. The painting of walls, ceiling, and stations of the cross is magnificent. Also-turn around and admire the organ pipes! Don't miss the outer prayer room!

a week agoBeautiful Church. Attend mass here while on a business trip this weekend. I only wish the speakers would have been turned up higher because I couldn't here anything the priest was saying. But overall a beautiful church.

4 months agoYes, this cathedral is a spectacular catholic worship space that welcomes all to experience the art, beauty, and love of God. I was traveling to Salt Lake City and found this beautiful place. I went specifically for confession as they have it every day and upon walking in there was adoration at the altar, which was extra special. The Cathedral combines a predominately Romanesque exterior with a Gothic interior with so many murals, sculptures, and reliefs that any art lover would be stopped in his or her tracks combing the entire interior. As much a museum as a pious worship space, this cathedral cannot be missed on your next trip to Salt Lake City.

2 weeks agoLoved the vibe in this cathedral. All the paintings have indigenous people on them and the whole decoration is in South-american style so it’s pretty and colourful. The usher was so welcoming and told us some interesting infos. Free entry

4 months agoThe Cathedral of the Madeleine recently had all of the stained glass windows removed and sent to Pittsburgh PA for restoration. The light shines through so beautifully. The stained glass above the organ shows angels holding different instruments. Worth coming to see for the historical significance but definitely worth coming for prayer.
