3 weeks agoClean and well kept park! Nice playground options for all ages. Good walking trails. No PEVs allowed from what I can tell but nonetheless an awesome park to add to your favorites. Our son calls this “two parks” because of the number of playgrounds here and loves the animal “carvings” that are on the playground.

a month agoThis park has play scapes, picnic tables, covered pavilion and trails. The trails are a maze of both paved and rough hiking trails. The elevation of the park changes and can be a challenge if you are hiking and are not in shape. If you are into geology the park has a fault that is clearly visible. The trails are nicely maintained and the park is full of hidden natural surprises. I saw lizards, squirrels, birds, and deer. Great place for kids and/or adults.

3 months agoGreat walking trails, perfect workout walk. We did roughly 3 miles. Saw a bit of wildlife, we think it’s a vulture on one of the power poles and a flock of chickens. We parked at Grissom trail head and walked to Cathedral Rock Park. Beautiful green space for people to walk, ride bikes and maybe even roller blade. Playground was fenced off and they provided a portapotty.

5 months agoThe main thing to note currently is that the playground is closed. It was unclear what the project is but it was disappointing to see it fenced off. The trails themselves are well paved and have very pleasant views. There aren’t many benches or resting spots along the trails yet, perhaps they will be added in the future.

3 weeks agoMy granddaughter loves parks and walks. She turned 2 that day. Happy birthday! This was our first visit. The playground is great with slides big and small, and clean too. Some trails are paved and others not. The signs tell you which, plus they give you a difficulty level. There are short and long distances to pick from and multiple points to enter the trail system. We will visit this park again. Stroller and bicycle friendly.
