4 months agoThey have a decent amount of lights, but to be honest, I feel like they could definitely have more for the price. It's hard to judge because I wasn't blown away by the experience, but I also wasn't fully disappointed. If you have kids or if you're into rides, i do feel like you get your money's worth because there's a good bit of rides. You get free hot chocolate at a few places. We did enjoy the train ride, though again, I do feel like more could be set up for that, but again, I'm not totally disappointed, it was just a cool experience. I do think it's worth seeing and experiencing at least once. This is for the walking tour, not the driving tour.

4 months agoWe went on a “value night” so it was $47 for two people for the walking tour. For adults who won’t be riding the rides (other than the train) I don’t think this would be worth it at full price. The train ride through the light display was fun but I expected more lights for how expensive it is for the car/limo drive through! That doesn’t seem worth it at all.

4 months agoDid the drive through tour and it was nice but it says online 30-45 minutes.. For $40 I was disappointed when less than 20 min we were through it. Definitely not enough lights for the price. There were like 2 underwhelming tunnels, otherwise it was the equivalent of driving through a neighborhood where every 5th house had lights up. The naughty and nice list with our names was probably the highlight which is disappointing. Wouldn’t go again, go to gretna and drive down Huey P long st and get the free lights there, that is the wow factor this wasn’t. I only took 2 photos on the whole drive

4 months agoVery disappointed in Celebration in the Oaks this year. A lot of the lights were out for the walking tour making the experience even more unpleasant with the crowds and families that would not take care of their little ones breaking the displays. The long line for the train ride was also not worth it when so few lights were up compared to previous years.
