a month agoI go here to play hockey on a weekly basis. Competition is good and they keep the ice maintained. Facilities could use some updating but overall, a good experience

2 months ago16 hockey teams on a four league championships. Then add a huge swimming meet. No parking. City was more concerned about people parking on the grass so they could collect paid parking on the street. What about the RV taking up five spots. Closed half of the bathrooms after swim meet, the rest smelled like Afghanistan the next day. Hockey and swimming need to do do a better job of coordinating.

2 years agoWe were here for a hockey tournament & enjoyed playing at this rink. Parking can be tricky, but I love that they allow tailgating for parents/families. There's a nice little area with picnic tables by the entrance for before games, too. In terms of the usual cold ice rinks, both of these are pretty warm for spectators. Make sure which rink your game is on, as Rink B isn't immediately noticeable & the entrance "tucked in" a bit on the side of Rink A, though there is an overhead sign. There are large, clean restrooms, table space for gathering in the lobby area, good concessions, and plenty of bleacher seating. I was VERY impressed with the wheelchair-accessibility and great, convenient area for those with wheelchairs to get a wonderful, clear view of the games. (That's such a rarity at rinks that aren't at universities or in the ECHL/NHL.) Overall, this was a great rink and a wonderful experience for our youth hockey tournament.
