4 months agoWent with a small group for their "Spooky Fest" last night. It was really enjoyable! They came up with some fun unique Halloween themed ideas like the Glow Tent where you mix your own slime and the cute little Fortune Teller booths and arts and crafts tables. We had a small toddler with us and even took her to the "Very Scary" haunted walk while it was still light out to mitigate the scariness. The actors did a great job of seeing she was little and not being over scary. They waved to her and she was able to enjoy it. The more family friendly "Enchanted Walk" was really nice for kids with some interesting photo opps for grown-ups too, like the aliens and themed rooms. The toddler really liked Mickey Mouse, the dog, and the frog. There were toys and carnival foods for sale, including Zeppoles, which I haven't had in years. All of the staff we interacted with were really nice, friendly, and helpful. We're really glad we went. It was a unique and fun Halloween evening geared towards kids and families. Highly recommended!

8 months agoStaff is so nice and knowledgeable. My child really wanted to pet a turtle for their birthday. They were nice enough to take out a turtle and let my child feed the turtle as well. They take really good care of the rescue animals.

10 months agoFirst time in this location, just cruising around. the receptionist is really nice. However the guy that was counting the cash was super rude. Was literally making small talk, and kicked me out. The area is completely closed, theres nobody coming inside.. "we can't have people here?" what is this, we still in the pandemic? Completely rude and unprofessional. I wouldn't bring my child to this location as i was looking for an area like this.

a year agoWe visited with 4 girls ages 8 to 12. They were thrilled to see axolotl, rabbits, life size fossils of dinosaurs, python, Emu, pheasants, peacocks, goats…. It was a very good learning experience. Kids made the Connections between dinosaurs and today’s species - survival and adaptation. Walk to the pond and back was nice as well to experience natural landscape. We saw dragonflies, lily pads and lotus. The small size of the museum renders itself to be enjoyable, interactive and interesting experience for kids without becoming too overwhelming and tiring.
