5 months agoSeriously the greatest climbing gym chain. The Atlanta gym lead wall is HUGE, with a second, very big bouldering only gym just steps away. Kennesaw gym is also very spacious, and the Midtown gym is super convenient if you live in the area. Fun sets with a variety of wall types. Best slab walls I’ve seen at all the gyms I’ve been to. Rentals (shoes, harness, belay device, lead rope), belay lessons and testing, and a variety of group activities like Pilates and ab classes are all free with your membership. Super nice and supportive community of climbers. I had to move but I miss this gym dearly😭😭

2 years agoReasonably large climbing gym in the greater Atlanta area. They are a chain with 4 locations in and around the city. This location has both rope climbing and bouldering so it’s a plus. The staff were super friendly and accommodating There are a ton of beginner routes and plenty of autobelays for that area. I see a lot of kids having fun. In general the grades are on the softer side but that’s not to take away from the creative route setting. They have something for everyone. They also have an annex parking which is slightly down the hill from the building and can fit plenty of cars and vans.

2 years agoIf you're looking for a great spot to go rock climbing, Stone Summit Climbing Atlanta is the place for you. They have a small bouldering section because there is a dedicated bouldering gym nearby, but the staff is friendly and they offer tours for first timers. There are tons of top rope and auto belay options, as well as a small gym upstairs for weight lifting and cardio. Overall, it's a great place to get your climb on!

6 years agoThis is my favorite climbing gym in Atlanta. Stone summit has super friendly staff that will not only get you what you need, but will also introduce you to the facilities and everything they offer. If you’re new they’ll personally walk with you and “show you the ropes” of the place and make sure you feel welcomed! There’s routes here for all levels of experience, from beginner to experienced. There’s routes for lead climbing, auto belay, regular belay, and even an entire separate section for children to practice and for bouldering! The area itself is actually very large and includes sections for you to sit and relax with friends or go jogging on treadmills to get a workout. You can easily hangout here with a good group for a whole day and not realize it :) The bathrooms are very clean too and there are lockers for you to store belongings as well.
