Central Rock Gym

Really nice gym! Very friendly staff. Definitely a high quality rock climbing gym. The price is not cheap but you get access to a high quality gym and many top notch climbs. Gear rentals are inexpensive.

Just had a super rad experience with central rock employee Brad. Not only do an incredible job belaying me he gave me a tip that helped me go from climbing 5.8s to reaching almost the top of a 5.9. This gym has a warm welcoming community vibe and they several events for queer and female climbers. I’m really happy with my membership at this location. Thanks Brad! Thanks Central Rock! I recently took a lead climbing class with Tom, and I couldn’t be more impressed with the experience. Tom’s approach was calm, clear, and incredibly reassuring. He provided detailed instructions while making sure I felt safe and confident at every step. His expertise was evident, and he took the time to explain techniques thoroughly, ensuring I understood both the climbing and safety aspects. If you are looking for lead certification I would recommend taking the class at Stoneham CRG.

Great atmosphere. Totally great place to bring kids and adults. The rating system is reflective of the courses. The gears, one day pass are great and it's totally worth it. I recommend to tag along with someone who does this regularly.
