Detailed Insights
This venue offers an extremely affordable weekday morning open-play program ('Lil Bit Fit Time') for toddlers, which is highly praised. For competitive gymnastics and cheer, experiences are sharply divided: some families report a 'family-like' atmosphere with coaches focused on life skills, while others describe severe issues including alleged racial discrimination, child bullying due to inadequate supervision, abrupt unenrolment, and dissatisfaction with competitive skill development.

💡Pro Tips from Reviews
- →For toddlers/preschoolers, visit during 'Lil Bit Fit Time' on weekdays (10:30 AM - 12:00 PM) for an inexpensive play option; ensure your child is walking to get the most out of it.
- →If enrolling a young child in competitive programs, explicitly clarify the coach-to-child ratio and supervision policies for class transitions and during active play to ensure adequate oversight.
- →If your child is prone to illness, thoroughly review the attendance and absence policies for competition teams, as they may be very strict even with doctor's notes.
- →Be prepared to actively monitor your child's experience, especially if they are young, given reports of bullying and lack of immediate teacher intervention.
Things to Consider
- ⚠Allegations of racial discrimination: One parent reported their child being the 'only black little girl' and believed their child's treatment and subsequent unenrolment were racially motivated.
- ⚠Inadequate child supervision and bullying: A 4-year-old child was reportedly pulled, poked, and left behind by her class during transitions, with teachers seemingly not observing.
- ⚠Staff unprofessionalism and poor complaint handling: Front desk staff (Megan) reportedly hung up on a parent, stating they 'weren’t a good fit'. The owner reportedly made excuses for issues, dismissed complaints, and called a parent late at night to demand video removal.
- ⚠Abrupt and unexplained unenrolment: A child was removed from a class without prior communication, discovered only when the parent tried to message the coach.
- ⚠Strict absence policy for competition teams: Contracts may require children (even a 4-year-old with pneumonia and doctor's approval) to compete or attend while unwell, potentially impacting their health and attendance flexibility.
- ⚠Perceived lack of skill development: One review states children 'will not learn any new skills' and that coaches are 'terrible' for competitive programs.
- ⚠Commoditization of athletes: Allegation that 'athletes are a commodity to them' rather than individuals.

8 months agoI shoudve listened to the review that said you had to be the right skin color. My daughter was the only black little girl in her Tuesday night Tiny novice competition cheer class. She was keeping up with her rest of the kids and was doing great considering she also has pneumonia, however her contract only allows for a certain number of absences and since she was on her antibiotics plus on a comp team, sometimes she will have to complete while not feeling well as long as she’s not contagious and has doctor approval which she did. During the class I watched as a child pulled Nevaeh’s hair and repeatedly poked her in the back to get her to move out of the spot she was told to stand in so she could stand there and be first instead of my child. With my daughter being newly 4 and the other child looking like she’s going on 7, my daughter just ignored her. Moments later my daughter is left by her class as they are transitioning in the hallway. I decided to just let the front desk know what had transpired and asked them to bring my daughter out of the class as she only had about 15 minutes left and she was looking worn out due to the pneumonia and annoyed by the same girl now trying to be my daughters teacher and tell her what to do while the actual teachers were talking. I get my daughter and we are driving home when I go to send her coach a message (class was still going on so I couldn’t speak to her then). As I’m going to open the app to message her coach it shows that we have been removed. I then go to my parent portal and it shows that my daughter has been unenrolled from the class. I called and spoke with Megan who stated I had too many complaints and that we “weren’t a good fit” and hung up on me. A good fit as in she was the only black kid or the only parent that complained instead of sucking it up. In another video I have with the manager, she states she was removed because I didn’t give them grace…. Fast forward to me speaking face to face with the owner today (I have a video of the entire conversation also). Who had excuses for everything and stated that they received 7 complaints this week and that 5 were from me. Actually only 3 were and they were valid complaints that could’ve easily been handled as of course two teachers can’t possibly watch all 10 or so kids at once. The owner Kevin seemed cocky and as if he didn’t like his gym being criticized. He even called me at 10:29pm asking me to take down the above video because it was mean. However, what was actually mean was the way my child was treated. I had uploaded the video to YouTube as UNLISTED just so he could hear the full conversation. Nobody else without the link would have been able to view it. You can find all the videos on both YouTube, TikTok, and Facebook.

a year agoCharlotte, allstars has been a wonderful place for all three of my children. We have been there for sometime now. Beginning with walking in the door the ladies upfront have always been more than helpful with anything that I needed. They always do everything with a smile on their face, and even if they don’t know the answer, they say give me a second I will find it out for you. Anytime I call up there with a question they always make sure to help me as fast as possible. All of the coaches that we have experienced in our years have always been loving, caring, and compassionate towards all three of my children. My husband and I know that the coaches love our kids like their own family. They want them to succeed not just in tumbling, or cheerleading, but in learning life skills, such as kindness, honesty, teamwork, and dedication. We are truly happy to be part of the CAC family. When our time comes and none of my children are off to college, I know that I will have long-standing relationships with everyone at the gym. Thank you for all you have given to our family.

8 years agoLove Lil Bit Fit Time at this place. 10:30-12:00 weekdays, $3 per child (with adult) or $5 per family. Web site says 18 months - 5 years, but in my experience they've been flexible on age (though your child probably won't get much out of it if he's not walking yet). Fantastic and cheap way to keep my 2.5 year old occupied all morning!

4 months agoThe athletes are a commodity to them. Your child will not learn any new skills and the only chance for a win is if they are the only team in the division. Coaches are terrible!
