My second time here and they did not disappoint. This current time, we played Gangsters Gamble and thoroughly enjoyed the puzzles in the room. Not spoiling anything, but this is a gen 1 type room. So if you're looking for high end tech, this is not the room. But if you're looking for creative puzzles that are rewarding when solved, then book this now and get in and play. Nicole did a great job introducing the room and Katie was a great game master who helped keep us on track! Next look forward to our next visit to Baltimore, we will definitely be stopping by to play another experience!!!

This was my first time doing an escape room and we really enjoyed it! I liked that the photos were included as well. We did the US Constellation, and would recommend! Recommendation for staff: the rope part of the puzzle was unclear and I think can be improved for future guests!

If You’re Too Happy, This Place Will Fix That!!! First time doing an escape room in Baltimore — but by no means a first-time player. While many others apparently experienced rainbows and sparkles here, our Sunday afternoon felt more like stepping into the DMV on a Monday morning. Shortly after arriving, we were “greeted” by a woman with all the warmth and charm of a parking ticket — whose one and only goal is to ensure we left with souls so crushed, even Eeyore would pull us aside and tell us to stay positive. Now, I’m usually the annoying friend who gets way too hyped for escape rooms. But man… this woman was on a personal crusade to extinguish every last spark of joy in the tri-state area. Her quick, monotonous rundown of the room’s premise was so heartfelt, I almost shed a tear. And her rude, impatient remarks and complete disregard for whether anyone understood the instructions? Honestly… so sweet 🫶🏼 Because later, when we inevitably failed miserably, we realized — she was actually training us for life’s many disappointments. What a guardian angel. Tiny detail: she never bothered explaining how hints worked or whether it was a multi room game. And despite me clearly mentioning that 3 out of our 5 players were first-timers (two of whom were non-native English speakers), she absolutely nailed her commitment to making sure none of us knew what was going on — all delivered in a tone so uninspired that they should honestly just name a room after her and theme it around Ebenezer Scrooge with an intro she’s sure to ace. (honestly a free moneymaking idea, so take it & run girl.) Bonus Moment: When asked if anyone needed the bathroom, one person said yes. Clearly horrified at the thought of a 2-minute delay, she made it very clear that the game would start without them. (Spoiler: by the time peeing was finished, it was 7 minutes past our reservation. And the next group wasn’t scheduled for another 30min after we ended. But hey, what do I know? Maybe it really does take more time to reset those locks, props, and of course, cocks— as in the ones from the room, duhh… what did you think I meant?) Final Thoughts: If you hate yourself, or you’re plotting revenge against someone, I highly recommend calling ahead to make sure the lady (with black-blue-magenta ombré glasses) is working the day you book. It’s an unforgettable experience (unfortunately). I may even go as far as to say, she IS the experience. A personal caveat: I think hints should only be given when unaminously requested for as opposed to the game-mas[sacre]ter deciding the majority of the time when players should receive hints. Or at least ask the group in the beginning how they want their hints, if at all. Otherwise… we genuinely enjoyed the room. It’s unfortunate to have a well-made game ruined by those operating it. Another plus were the clean bathrooms :) BUT SIDE NOTE: If you have any physical disabilities, plan ahead — the bathrooms require a scenic hike to the other side of the building (stairs included for your inconvenience). Godspeed y’all 🫡 Re: We were on time but, we are not from Baltimore & everything looked like it was closed around us, including your facility as it was dark when we looked inside AND no one was at the front desk. perhaps if she was at the front desk, we would not have wasted time outside wondering if we were at the right location.

I’ve done over a dozen escape rooms, always been able to escape & loved the whole experience, until this place. When you walk into an escape room and there’s NO decor, and it resembles a preschool room, you know it’s going to be bad. This is like a low budget escape room your friend might put on in their basement. The puzzles were atrocious. My boyfriend and I kept making eyes at each other like “they can’t be serious.” Oh and the “game master” read the rules & story to us like an auctioneer, we weren’t even told if we were getting a clue we would hear a ships bell, so while the ships bell is sounding along with all the other background ship noises we heard the whole time, we had no idea. If you’re considering visiting, just go flush $100 down the toilet because it’s pretty much the same thing.

Had a lovely time at the Clue Room, the staff member who met with us was incredibly lovely and very warm. The game was not too difficult and if we didn't understand what to do next a very helpful hint guided us in the write direction. There was one technical fault that we came across but it was quickly resolved and me and my partner were very impressed and pleased by our experience. I'm excited to try out the other rooms in the future.
